My Personal Tribute to Bob Dylan’s Music

Playing Bob Dylan songs on the piano has become a real passion project for me. While most of the music I perform at weddings and other events is tailored to the occasion, I also love arranging and playing Bob Dylan’s timeless songs in a more personal setting.

How I Fell in Love with Bob Dylan’s Songs

My love for Dylan’s music started when I was about fifteen years old, thanks to my dad introducing me to his early records. From those first listens, I was hooked—not just by the poetry of his lyrics, but by the craft of his melodies.

Growing up, I also experienced Dylan’s resurgence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, as he released some of his finest later albums and even won an Oscar (and then the Nobel Prize for Literature!).

Over the years, I’ve seen Bob Dylan live around eight times, including an unforgettable concert at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2024.
At almost 84 years old, it may have been one of his final UK performances—and it inspired me to finally start recording my own piano interpretations of his songs.

This Dylan project is purely a personal hobby alongside my professional live piano performances. While you’re unlikely to hear too many Bob Dylan songs at a wedding, this project allows me to stay connected to the artist who has inspired me the most—and to share that connection with other fans who appreciate his timeless work.
