Getting the most from Wedding Fayres

It�s that time of year when newly engaged couples, and those fully immersed in wedding planning, are putting cold and blustery weekends to good use by attending wedding fayres.

So much choice!

If you�ve started wedding planning, at some point you�ve probably been overwhelmed by the huge array of suppliers. From venues to photographers, cake makers to DJ�s, florists to pianists, the choices can seem endless! There are lots of fantastic suppliers out there and platforms like Google, Hitched and Encore Musicians, are useful for finding out what the options are, and for narrowing down your search.

Get to know your suppliers

However, nothing quite beats going to a wedding fayre to meet suppliers who may be involved in your special day. Here you will not only see the quality of their service, but also you will get to know them, and be able to ask lots of questions.

This initial interaction can provide reassurance and confidence that they will be great to work with in the build-up, and on your wedding day itself.

Wedding fayres are also great for meeting suppliers you have already found online and are interested in booking, or may already have booked, as well as for getting new ideas!

I enjoy wedding fayres, meeting potential and existing clients, getting to know them, and talking through their plans. I also enjoy playing impromptu and on-the-spot song requests. When they’re new to me I take them away, learn them, and email sample recordings in the days following the fayre.

Upcoming Wedding Fayres

I am looking forward to playing at four wedding fayres over the next few weeks. I can thoroughly recommend them all, both as wedding venues in their own rights. They’re also great locations to meet fantastic, dedicated, and professional suppliers who are passionate about helping you create the perfect day.
